Frank and I finally watched The Secret about 4 weeks ago—we must have been about the last people in the known universe to watch it.
We loved it.
I’ve been ignoring it for quite a while because I’ve been working with the ideas in it for many years, so didn’t think I’d learn anything new, and because from advertising I’d seen, it appeared it would be a bit “trashy”, with an annoying over-emphasis on obtaining material goods.
Instead I found a warm, human movie that inspired us hugely to get on with attracting more of what we want into our lives. Frank loved it so much he bought the book by the movie’s creator, Rhonda Byrne, and has already read it!
Money goes around and around and around and around and around. It does. Therefore there is an infinite amount of money in the world.
So if we want some/lots of it, we have to be able to let it circulate in our direction.
I went to a prosperity workshop once where we did the following exercise: we were asked to take a sum of money out of our wallets that we were comfortable with losing, then all stand up and walk around the room, and give the money away. Then sit down when we were ready to. There were about 100 of us.
This post is inspired by a comment left on an earlier one. Thanks SO much to everyone who has left a comment—it makes a huge difference to me.
The thought expressed was… what about having sex and making babies and population growth and there being enough room on the planet for everyone, if no-one dies? …to paraphrase.
My take on it is that our thinking there’s not enough room for everyone boils down to our beliefs in limitations. We can cultivate the mindset that there is enough love, money, food and room for everyone, whether we are thinking globally or closer to home. Who knows what might happen if we all did that!
