It’s Easter Saturday today. I thought it would be good to write a post on Good Friday, on the topic of living forever, but we were otherwise occupied. We were helping do the sound at a Weekend Warriors fund-raising event for the children’s hospital in Melbourne. The photo above is from a similar event a few years ago (that’s my Frankie singin’).
Weekend Warriors is a program for people, usually on the older side, to get together and perform in rock bands. It’s for people who perhaps were musicians when they were younger, but gave it up when family came along, or maybe they never had the opportunity to be musicians when they were younger.
Anyway, now they are doing something they have always wanted to do. I reckon that if we keep doing the things that excite us, we will naturally want to keep on living.
